Privacy Policy

1. Who operates Tasks++

Tasks++ is operated by Nubisor AB, Sweden. Privacy and support questions can be sent to taskspp@nubisor.se.

2. Information Tasks++ processes

Depending on the features you use, Tasks++ may process:

• your Google account identifier and email address for account ownership and support;
• Google Tasks data such as task lists, titles, notes, due dates, completion state and task identifiers;
• Google Drive file metadata and links for files you explicitly select through the Google Drive picker;
• Tasks++-specific metadata such as stars, reminders, desks, list ordering and synchronization state;
• files you explicitly upload as Tasks++ attachments; and
• technical information required to operate authentication, synchronization, security and error handling.

3. How Google data is used

Google Tasks data is used only to provide task management and synchronization features requested by you. Google Drive access is limited to files you explicitly select for use with Tasks++; Tasks++ stores a reference and file metadata needed to display and open the selected file and does not copy the Google Drive file into Tasks++ storage.

Tasks++ uses Google OAuth for sign-in and access authorization. On the web, the long-lived Google refresh credential is stored encrypted on the Tasks++ backend; the browser receives short-lived Google access tokens.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy

Tasks++ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Tasks++ cloud data

Tasks++ stores app-specific data needed for features that Google Tasks does not provide, including desks, stars, reminders, list order and Tasks++ attachments. This data is separated by account and is not used for advertising.

6. Service providers

Tasks++ uses infrastructure and hosting providers to operate the application, authentication, database, file storage and synchronization services. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service.

7. Data retention and deletion

Google Tasks remain in your Google account until you change or delete them in Tasks++, Google Tasks or another authorized client. Tasks++-specific cloud data is retained while needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of Tasks++-specific cloud data by emailing taskspp@nubisor.se.

You can revoke Tasks++ access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account security settings. Revoking Google access stops future Google API access but does not by itself delete data already stored specifically by Tasks++.

8. Security

Tasks++ uses access controls, encrypted transport and server-side protection of long-lived Google refresh credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but Tasks++ is designed to minimize stored credentials and isolate user data.

9. Children

Tasks++ is not directed to children under the age at which they may independently consent to online services in their jurisdiction.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Tasks++ features, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and revision date will always be published on this page.
